Wokingham Singers’ Musical Director is Dan Tickner. Dan is currently a music teacher at Frogmore Community College, pianist and double bassist. He has worked with many different choirs including the Arborfield Military Wives and Time To Sing Community Choir.

As a conductor Dan has performed with a Barbershop Group at the Windsor Festival when in his first teaching post at Desborough School. Dan worked alongside the choir’s former director Jo McNally for 18 years at the Hillingdon Music Service. In this time he ran a boys choir which regularly performed close harmony barbershop and assorted male pop songs as well as classical pieces. Dan was part of several music tours including Strasbourg and Italy.
